Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu emphasizes grappling techniques used to defeat an opponent. The goal is to attain a dominant position and then to apply a submission technique in which to defeat an opponent by way of submission. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is not only a must have for Mixed Martial Artists it is great in real world applications too. Not just for personal self-defense, Jiu Jitsu is also used by law enforcement officers, correction officers, security guards, body guards, bouncers and military personnel. This is due in large part to the fact that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu doesn’t rely solely on size and strength, rather it utilizes leverage, positioning and timing. This makes Jiu Jitsu ideal for men, women and children of all ages!
